lebua at State Tower Bangkok Reviews - We went there as a family of 6, and we booked two, two bedroom suites. I cannot fault the suites, they had everything you could possibly need. Good size kitchen, fridge, washing machine, dryer, ironing board,the master bedroom has a nice size bathtub and a beautiful bathroom, the room was big and very comfortable. The second bedroom had two single beds, smaller than master bedroom but still very comfortable and a nice bathroom. The lounge was awesome, big u shape sofa, desk and dinning table. The free wireless internet was pretty fast, and great view of the city! Nice size balconies, it was a very beautiful room!
One two problems we had was:
1. At check in we had to wait nearly 2 hours to get a room, then they gave us one room and we had to wait another 2hours for the other room. That was not pleasant after a 11 hour flight! And btw we got the second room at about 5:30pm!
2. The hotel is very crowded at all times! The wait for the elevator was horrible, and they were always packed, and not air conditioned. For someone who is claustrophobic it was a nightmare every time i had to take the lifts! Finally started to use the service lift!
I think a lot of people visit the hotel for their famous restaurant Scirocco, and that's one of the reason the hotel is so busy at night, also because of the Hangover movie there are a lot of visitors during the day too, so if you are looking for a quiet chill out hotel, i don't think Lebua is it!
But i enjoyed my stay there, apart from those cons, but i do not think i would be staying there again if i go back to Bangkok. Only because i rather a more relaxed and less crowded atmosphere!- lebua at State Tower Bangkok Reviews
