An excellent hotel choice - Conrad Centennial Singapore Reviews

Conrad Centennial Singapore Reviews -  With some many competing 5 star properties in Singapore (Ritz Calrton, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Shangri-La) I was unsure if the Conrad would really compete at the 5 star level. Clearly and without a doubt it did. When you enter the property, you have an immediate sense of elegance which carries throughout the property. The room was lavish, exactly what you would expect in a 5 star property, elegantly appointed, high end ammenities with a very comfortable bed and furniture. There is a little wear and tear in the corners and areas not to visable, but minor. The service was 100% top notch, with great politeness and well mannered staff. We were there for two nights prior to a cruise and would highly recommend this hotel. The executive lounge was great and as were the breakfasts there. There is a very large and busy restaurant in the lobby which was busy and booming but we didn't dine there, but it looked like a fun place to eat. The only negative of our experience was theirn fine dining Chinese restaurant which was touted as being a very nice restaurant. Our experience was the opposite. The service was poor, we didn't receive what we ordered and what was brought was not temperature hot. No way around it, it was just bad.
