Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour -- Good location: Maybe about 200m from the harbor, between the hotel and the Inner Harbour leigt the Kongresszemtrum. The small town center with shopping and dining begins just west of the hotel, in the other direction are museums and Parliament reached quickly on foot.
Directions: From the airport, a shuttle bus into the city, which stops at the hotel. The ride will be (at least in winter) served every hour and on the way to the airport, this hotel is a mandatory of 3 stops at the bus station at the other hotels, the bus stops only when there are reservations. However, you should wait outside, otherwise the bus is gone.
Hotel: No Harbourview. Had requested a room high up, but the house on the other side blocks the view of the harbor from almost every room. The room is decorated American plush, in the closet waiting for a big tube TV. Large bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check-in was in my case possible even at 10am.
